Edelson & Brown for Mount Laurel Council 2026

Irwin Edelson and Sean Brown promise to fight for community safety, lower taxes, improve transparency, and provide solutions to the overdevelopment that is turning Mount Laurel into a cement city.

Irwin and Sean will Bring Balance Back to our local government - a government that has been controlled by the democrats for 6 years. Our local municipal taxes have INCREASED, crime is UP, and development is OUT OF CONTROL!!

Meet Irwin and Sean

Meet Irwin...

  • Decades of proven leadership and experience on Mount Laurel Council, including Mayor, the Zoning Board, MUA Board, and in youth sports

  • 48 years of professional management

  • Strives for increased, active police surveillance to reduce thefts and make Mount Laurel safe again

  • A seasoned servant who understands how the township works and how to manage a budget. For the past 2 years, local taxes have increased under the current all-Democrat Council.

Meet Sean...

  • A 20-year old finance major at Rowan University who wants to give back to the town that raised him.

  • Top priority is affordability. Will focus on common-sense initiatives that allow residents to keep more of what they earn.

  • Not a career politician. Brings a fresh perspective and a commitment to represent a generation that is often overlooked.

Our Team is ready to deliver with a plan that will:

  • Hit the brakes on additional tax increases. The current Council HAS increased your municipal taxes for the past two years.

  • Fight overdevelopment to protect our open spaces & stop overcrowding our schools. Work with Council to pass a ban on future data centers in Mount Laurel.

  • Combat the uptick in crime by increasing visible police patrols in our community and ensuring officers have the resources to actively protect our residents.

  • End the toxic partisanship at Town Hall by restoring balance to Council & listening to the concerns of ALL residents.
